Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which ECONDATA TECHSCRIBE LTD ("we", "us", or "our") issues refunds for AI100.io Access Keys and Research Runs. This document complements Section 6 ("Right of Withdrawal and Refunds") of our Terms of Service; both apply together, and where they overlap the more favorable provision for the consumer prevails.

1. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

2. When refunds are issued

We issue refunds in the following cases:

  • Unused Access Key: if you have purchased an Access Key and have not initiated any Research Runs, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected]. We will process the refund within 14 days using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • Technical failure on our side: if a Research Run fails to complete because of a technical error on our infrastructure and no Report is delivered, the consumed run is automatically restored to your balance. Report such cases to [email protected].

3. When refunds are not issued

  • Consumed Research Runs: each Research Run incurs immediate and irreversible third-party API costs. We do not refund consumed runs.
  • Reports already delivered: Reports successfully generated and delivered are non-refundable.
  • Withdrawal during performance: by initiating a Research Run, you expressly request that the service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for that specific run once performance has begun, in line with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

4. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your Access Key reference and a brief description of the reason for the refund request. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days using the original payment method.

Cryptocurrency refunds are returned to the same wallet that issued the original payment. Because exchange rates fluctuate, the refunded amount in cryptocurrency may differ from the originally paid amount; we refund the USD-equivalent at the time of refund using the rate available to our payment processor.

5. Consumer protection

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence within the European Union or under the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
